La collaborazione tra Archiplan Studio e Resìna Vintage nasce dall’idea che un progetto non debba imporre una forma, ma costruire relazioni, con i luoghi, con la loro memoria, con i segni lasciati dal tempo e con gli oggetti che, negli anni, hanno attraversato modi differenti di abitare.
Ogni progetto prende forma attraverso un processo di conoscenza: il paesaggio, l’architettura esistente, le stratificazioni della materia e le tracce dell’uomo diventano elementi con cui entrare in dialogo. Il nuovo si affianca a ciò che già c’è, cercando un equilibrio capace di mantenere insieme epoche e linguaggi differenti.
The collaboration between Archiplan Studio and Resìna Vintage stems from the idea that a project should not impose a form, but rather create relationships – with places, with their history, with the marks left by time, and with the objects that, over time, have been part of different ways of living.
Each project takes shape through a process of discovery: the landscape, the existing architecture, the layers of materials and the traces of human activity become elements with which to engage in dialogue. The new coexists alongside what is already there, seeking a balance capable of bringing together different eras and styles.
La ricerca sul design del Novecento diventa parte del progetto come ulteriore livello della sua narrazione. Un mobile, una lampada, una superficie segnata dal tempo possono introdurre una nuova relazione, evocare una memoria, creare tensione tra elementi lontani per origine e storia.
Accanto alla ricerca di arredi vintage e pezzi da collezione, la collaborazione si estende alla progettazione di arredi su misura, pensati per uno spazio preciso e sviluppati attraverso il dialogo con artigiani, produttori e competenze specializzate.
Architettura, interior design, arredi su misura e pezzi vintage diventano così parti di uno stesso percorso. Un percorso costruito attraverso la stratificazione, in cui presente e passato possono convivere ed il valore dei singoli elementi risiede nelle relazioni che riescono a generare.
Research into 20th-century design becomes part of the project as a further layer of its narrative. A piece of furniture, a lamp, or a surface marked by the passage of time can introduce a new relationship, evoke a memory, or create tension between elements that are distant in terms of their origins and history.
Alongside the search for vintage furnishings and collectable pieces, the collaboration extends to the design of bespoke furniture, conceived for a specific space and developed through dialogue with craftsmen, manufacturers and specialist experts.
Architecture, interior design, bespoke furniture and vintage pieces thus become part of a single journey. A journey built upon layers, in which the present and the past can coexist, and the value of the individual elements lies in the relationships they manage to create.
In Puglia questo approccio trova un territorio particolarmente fertile. Masserie, trulli, case rurali e architetture contemporanee appartengono a un paesaggio fatto di sedimentazioni, trasformazioni e permanenze. Resìna Vintage e Archiplan Studio scelgono di partire da qui: dalla conoscenza dei luoghi e dalla loro complessità, così da costruire progetti che cerchino una propria identità.
La Puglia rappresenta il luogo da cui questo dialogo prende forma, ma non il suo confine ultimo. Cambiano i luoghi e le relazioni da costruire, ma il metodo rimane lo stesso: osservare ciò che esiste, comprenderlo e lasciare che il progetto trovi la propria risposta.
In Puglia, this approach finds particularly fertile ground. Masserie, trulli, rural houses and contemporary architecture are all part of a landscape shaped by layers of history, transformation and continuity. Resìna Vintage and Archiplan Studio choose to start from here: from an understanding of these places and their complexity, in order to create projects that seek their own identity.
Puglia is the place where this dialogue takes shape, but it is not its ultimate boundary. The places and the relationships to be forged may change, but the method remains the same: observing what already exists, understanding it and allowing the project to find its own answer.
