Four Mid-Century Modern Italian Wood Dining Chairs in the Style of Ico Parisi

An elegant and meticulously restored set of four dining chairs from the 1960s, a superb testament to 1960s Italian rationalism, where expert structural engineering met high-end artisan craftsmanship. 

These chairs feature an architecturally striking spindle-back (or comb-back) silhouette, perfectly balanced by organic, tapered legs.  The design exhibits a brilliant dialogue between Nordic functionalism—reminiscent of Ilmari Tapiovaara’s and the refined structural lightness of Italian masters typical of Ico Parisi’ conic furniture.

Every chair has been completely disassembled, structurally reinforced, tightened, and expertly refinished to honor the natural, warm patina of the solid beechwood. The frames are rock-solid, showing only minor, character-rich vintage wear beneath the new finish. The seats have been freshly reupholstered in a first-quality olive green Skai.
