Original wood frame from the 1970s, the item has been refinshed by using the Japanese finishing technique “Yakisugi” which consists in carbonizing the superficial surface of the wood in order to obtain a wonderful black painted natural effect that highlights the wood veinings and knots.

Once used to protect wood against parasites, it lately became also a refined yet unique aesthetic technique that give to furniture an original finishing and look.

A neon light has been applied between wood and mirror. Beautiful eclipse effect.
