Mid Century Modern ” Quadrifoglio ” Floor Lamp, Harvey Guzzini, Italy

Iconic and rare Quadrifoglio floor lamp, designed by Luigi Massoni and Studio 6G for Guzzini in the early 1970s that captures the futuristic aesthetic of the era and also creates a stunning visual impact.

The lamp features a polished chrome circular base and four chrome stems, each supporting a uniquely moulded white acrylic shade in the shape of a four-leaf clover, “Quadrifoglio in Italian”.

The lamp is designed to offer a beautiful lighting effect, with its four-leaf shade allowing light to spread in multiple directions. It is equipped with a two-light system, controlled by a convenient pedal in-line floor switch. The interior of the shade accommodates two standard light bulbs, while the top metal lampshade holds a third one, offering flexible lighting options.

As a rare piece of 1970s Italian design, this lamp, with its innovative shape, versatile lighting and refined craftsmanship, captures the essence of the Space Age era while maintaining lasting appeal for contemporary interiors.

This lamp has been carefully refinished and rewired to ensure it is fully functional and safe for modern use. The steel poles, which had some minor fading, have been repainted in a silver color, with the restoration being subtle and hardly noticeable compared to the original chrome finish (please refer to the pictures for reference).
