This elegant Italian circular wall mirror manufactured by Fontanit (Fontana Arte corporate galaxy) during the 1970s stands as a refined testament to Italian Mid-Century and Modernist design.

Characterized by a substantial, minimalist svasated “a scivolo” profile that creates a striking sculptural depth when viewed from both the front and the side.

The frame is completely enveloped in its original, finely textured dark brown eco-leather (skai); material that was highly favored by visionary Italian designers of the era for its uniform tension, sleek matte finish, and enhanced durability against humidity.

The mirror glass is gently recessed within the structured frame. The reverse features its original plywood backing panel, secured to the structure via industrial perimeter staples—a textbook hallmark of Fontanit’s authentic 1970s engineering.
