A refined mid-century modern Italian small sideboard / Credenza from the 1960s. The piece beautifully balances Italian rational design with minimalist Scandinavian style influences.

Crafted with a warm, richly grained rosewood veneer casing, it stands elevated on an architecturally light black iron structure features adjustable solid brass leveling feet, a refined and functional signature detailing typical of high-end Italian postwar manufacture (often associated with the Milanese and Brianza ebanisterie).

The highly functional, asymmetric layout is cleverly split into two sections with a spacious double-door cabinet compartment providing hidden storage and three drawers flanked by two open-shelf cubbies, perfect for decorative objects, or media devices.

The wooden body has been gently cleaned and professionally refreshed with a conservative wax finish to preserve its rich grain and gorgeous original patina. The black-coated metal frame and brass components are sturdy, completely original, and exhibit very minor signs of time and use.
