Vico Magistretti Omega Pendant by Artemide, Italy, 1960s

This Magistretti Pendant, designed in 1962, is a true masterpiece of the mid-century Italian design school. Known for his pioneering work in industrial design, Vico Magistretti created several functional yet artistic pieces, and the Omega is a prime example of his innovative approach to lighting design.

The pendant features a large open acrylic curved external lampshade that elegantly encases an opaline glass light globe sphere inside, offering a soft and diffused light that creates a warm ambiance. The chromed structure has a cross-shaped metal frame that secures both lampshades together, as well as connects the pendant to the ceiling, giving it a structured, almost sculptural feel.

The electric components have been professionally revised, ensuring that the lamp is in excellent working condition. In very good conditions with only minor signs of time, there are no cracks or damages to either of the lampshades.
